Minimum Recommended PC & Mac Requirements for Students


The Information Technology department recommends the following minimum computer system standards for any incoming student.  Please note that students that plan on taking on-line classes have different base requirements.   Contact the helpdesk if you have any questions regarding your specific system. 

DO NOT PURCHASE A COMPUTER WITH MICROSOFT VISTA ON IT IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.  There are known compatibility issues with several software packages that the AU campus uses. (1/03/08)
